Cooperatives societies is performing a leading role in cooperative sector with notable achievements in agriculture sector.  The affairs of the cooperative societies are regulated under Cooperative Societies Act, 1925 (Amended up to date) and Cooperative Societies Rules, 1927 (Amended up to date)
