The Cooperatives movement in sub-continent has been very effective in rural mobilization. The cardinal principle of self-help has been instrumental in galvanizing agriculturist community into cooperative farming societies all across the province. The farmers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa flourished with the support of agriculture inputs and equipments made available on basis of mutual cooperation. In order to make these societies viable, either the state allocated certain pieces of land in name of these society or the societies purchased land from its own resources.
